Horizon Christian Schools will be closed or the opening will be delayed due to inclement weather whenever the Tigard/Tualatin School District closes or delays opening its schools. As such, parents may generally follow the instructions given for the Tigard/Tualatin School District.
However, special circumstances could cause some unique features in our announcement, so parents are advised to confirm whatever information they might otherwise have by checking the Horizon announcement. We will post a separate announcement soon after the Tigard/Tualatin District decision is known.
If special circumstances warrant closing a Horizon school or delaying an opening time, the information will be posted on the Horizon schools’ websites and with each of the local radio and television news agencies.
This announcement will be updated with notices of school closures and delays as needed. The information will be posted in red below.
