The Elementary School program at HCS ranges from Pre-School through 6th grade. In addition to the teacher, each classroom at HCES has the availability of an Educational Assistant to provide extra support for the teachers and students. Having Educational Assistants available serves our students by lowering the student-to-staff ratio and allowing more individualized attention for students when needed.
At HCES we believe in a well-rounded education. We begin teaching Spanish to our students beginning in first grade. We are blessed with a wonderful computer lab, allowing every student state of the art equipment on which to learn. Our students are well rounded with music and art as well and conditioned by our physical education program. For those who need it, Passport is available to improve reading and comprehension skill.
