Kindergarten @ Horizon
At Horizon Christian Schools our Kindergarten program offers half-day and full-day options.
Both classes focus on pre-reading activities, storytelling, reading, book-making, math, printing, Lucy Calkings creative writing, journal writing, Bible, arts and crafts, Social Studies and Science. Both classes will also experience Computer class, Music, P.E., Spanish, chapel and library visits. Our Kindergarten program emphasizes hands-on learning.
Full Day Kindergarten: M-F 8:30am- 3:00pm
Full-day Kindergarten also includes lunch time, additional drawing, and dramatics as well as time for extra enrichment activities.
Full-day Kindergarten is a great option for working parents or for parents who feel their child is ready for more instruction, but not yet ready for first grade
